Quick verdict
Yes, if you want to warm yourself instead of the whole house. The HotJak Heated Vest is a lightweight heated gilet with 4 heat zones, 3 adjustable levels and up to 7+ hours of warmth per charge. It is ideal for cold homes, home offices, outdoor work, dog walks, cycling and motorcycling — anywhere a person, not a room, needs heat.
It is not a replacement for home heating in freezing conditions — it warms your core, not the space. But as a way to stay warm at your desk or outdoors for less than running the heating all day, it fits the brief. Official-site reviews are strongly positive; individual results vary with fit and outdoor temperature.

The problem it solves
Heating an entire house — or an entire office — to keep one person warm is one of the most expensive ways to fight the cold. The HotJak Heated Vest takes the opposite approach: it warms your core directly, so you feel warm in a cooler room, without turning the thermostat up.
The HotJak warms you, not the room. It is a personal heating layer — great for desks, outdoor activities and cold homes, but it does not replace central heating in very cold conditions. The claim that it is "The Best Heated Vest of 2025" comes from the manufacturer's marketing and has not been independently verified by us.
What is the HotJak Heated Vest?
The HotJak Heated Vest is a lightweight, sleeveless puffer vest with built-in heating elements.
